THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: LDF has moved one step forward in the election campaign. Though UDF has almost decided their candidates NDA is still in confusion regarding their candidates. LDF has started conducting constituency level, assembly level, and booth level conventions. The first stage of their campaign has almost ended. They have also started visiting houses. Family meets are being conducted on a regional level.
Political stands against BJP and Congress, the difference between policies of state and central governments, explanations stating that central government policies are not beneficial, reasons for LDF's victory etc. will be conveyed to the people through pamphlets.

Candidates will start their campaign officially on 23rd March. National and state leaders will reach the constituencies for the campaign in April. Party is evaluating the situation with inner committees consisting of several leaders including Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and party secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. They are evaluating the situation in each constituency so that issues can be solved immediately.

N K Premachandran is the only UDF candidate who has gone really forward with his campaign. RSP has completed assembly conventions in Kollam. Congress has declared candidates for 12 constituencies and they have also started the campaign.
Kummanam Rajasekharan and P C Thomas are the only two NDA candidates leading their campaign. NDA candidate list is being expected immediately.
