PATHANAMTHITTA: Unconfirmed reports say that a famous congress leader is likely to be fielded in Pathanamthitta where the name of a BJP candidate has not yet been announced. However, state leaders who were not ready to confirm this said that leaders from all over the country will join BJP.

The BJP central leadership held discussions with two national leaders from the minority community. One of the two has agreed to it.

BJP state leaders said they don’t know the details of the discussions. The BJP wants to shock the congress national leadership by announcing the ‘surprise’ candidate. The leadership think that if a leader from the Christina community known to Pathanamthitta is fielded, there will be an easy win in the triangular contest.
