THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Met department has informed that the heat may be on the rise till Tuesday. In Kollam, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Thrissur, the temperature is likely rise by 3 to 4 degree Celsius while in Thiruvananthapuram, Pathanamthitta, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode and Kannur, the temperature may rise by 2 to 3 Degree Celsius.
