THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Kaumudi Flash had predicted, much ahead of the beginning of Lok Sabha election campaigns, that Congress chief Rahul Gandhi would be contesting from Wayanad constituency.
Flash, dated October 15, had hinted that Rahul might contest from Wayanad as it was a safe constituency for the Congress and from here he would be able to keep a closer watch on the party activities in South Indian states especially Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
On January 29, also the Flash reported that Wayanad would be Rahul’s second constituency. Flash carried the news about this on the day when he took part in the leadership meet of the Congress in Kochi Marine Drive.
