PARASSALA: A middle aged man at Parasala in the capital city collapsed and died. He has been identified as Karunakaran (43), a court employee. His body was found in the field with burns.

The primary examination of the body taken to taluk hospital suspected sunstroke to be the cause of death. However, the doctors said it can be confirmed only after getting the post-mortem report.

A middle aged man in Kannur too collapsed and died. The dead has been identified as Narayanan (67). He too had sun burns in his body.

Meantime, the temperature in Kerala is breaking all records. The next two days are likely to be very hot in the state. In places like Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Kozhikode and Kannur, the temperature is predicted to be two to three degree above normal on March 23 and 24. On the 25th and 26th the temperature will be three to four degree.
