THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Health Minister K K Shailaja has said that as there is abnormal rise in summer heat due to climatic changes, people should follow all instructions issued by the health department.
1) Avoid being in the sun between 11am and 3pm.
2) Drink lot of water to avoid dehydration
3) Seek medical care, if you feel some discomfort
“Special arrangements have been made in hospitals to treat people affected by sunstroke. The health department had taken early precautions as it was aware of the possibility for rise in temperature this time. All district medical officers have been given strong instructions in this regard,” she said.
