KOCHI: The much-touted Mohanlal-starrer Lucifer finally reached theatres on today (March 28). His fans are welcoming the film with great enthusiasm and the initial online review has given something to cheer for the film crew and the fans.

Lucifer is the first directorial venture of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran. Writer-actor Murali Gopi has scripted the film. Antony Perumbavur is producing the film under the banner Aashirvad films.

Lucifer’s whole crew including the director, hero and their families watched the first show in Ernakulam Kavitha theatre.From yesterday night itself, celebrations by Mohanlal and Prithviraj fans had started in various theatres, where Lucifer is being exhibited.

Just a few hours before the first show, Prithviraj jotted on his Facebook page that he was dedicating the film to his father Sukumaran.
The film is being screened in more than 3000 theatres across the world. In Kerala itself, cinema will run in more than 400 theatres.
