PARASSALA: Farmer and an old woman died after being subjected to sunstroke. Unnikrishnan Nair (42) and Chinnammal (78) are the deceased. 13 people in Pathanamthitta and 4 people in Punalaur sustained sunburns.

Unnikrishnan Nair was on a bike with Harishankar, his relative, as he passed out. He was rushed to Parassala Taluk Hospital, but couldn’t be saved.
