KOCHI: Innocent, the LDF candidate of Chalakudy, called on Benny Behanan, the UDF candidate, who suffered a heart attacked early Friday morning. The leader was taken to a private hospital in Kakkkanad Friday early morning at 3 am. He underwent an angioplasty. Though his condition is stated to be stable, he has been kept under 48-hour observation. Innocent talked to Benny Behanan’s wife and said that he also has underwent an angioplasty years before. That was after cancer affected him twice. I was scared a bit then, he said.
