THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Central leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kerala for election campaigning. Modi will address election meetings in Kerala on April 12 and 18. Modi will reach Kerala on April 12 and will attend two programmes, one at Kozhikode and the other at Thiruvananthapuram.

BJP leader M T Ramesh while addressing the press meet said the state faction has requested him to visit Wayanad. Congress chief Rahul Gandhi reached Kerala to file his nominations for the Wayanad constituency. Rahul accompanied by Priyanka later held a road show also. The BJP wants Modi to visit Kerala after Rahul visited Wayanad. News agency PTI had the other day reported that almost ten leaders will reach Kerala for election campaign. Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkarii, Sushma Swaraj, Nirmala Sitaraman, Piyush Goyal, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and Smriti Irani are expected to reach state.
