CHALAKKUDY: The car in which Thrissur district collector T V Anupama was travelling met with an accident on Saturday. However, no one inside the car including the collector sustained any injury.

The accident happened in the noon at around 1pm when the officials were returning to Thrissur from Chalakkudy after attending an election review meeting there.

When the collector’s car reached a private workshop at Chalakkudy old national highway, a car that came from the opposite direction banged into the official vehicle.

Later, the collector got off the car and continued her journey in another car.
