ALAPPUZHA: Brothers died on getting electrocuted while washing a car. Anil (51) and Manoj (44), sons of Chittachil Veettil Balakrishna Pillai are the deceased. The incident was around 6 pm on Sunday.

The two were found unconscious by people who came along a temple procession. The motor was still working. Anil and Manoj were taken to Alappuzha General Hospital. Manoj died on the spot and Anil passed away at the hospital. Their mother, Anandavalli Ammal, who is bedridden is the only person left at the house.

Manoj, who is working as a medical representative in Thiruvananthapuram, comes to the house at Alappuzha on Sundays. The dead bodies are kept at Alappuzha Medical College hospital.
