KOLLAM: There is a total of 53,299 service voters in the state. Those working in military-paramilitary departments will be able to vote. The required papers and ballots for this have been sent through media by 3 p.m. on Tuesday. Voters should submit these to respective returning officers after getting it certified by departmental heads before 16th of this month. This should be sent via post. Voters need not cover any cost for the post.

The downloaded ballots won’t be accepted after the 16th of April. These votes will be counted along with the postal votes. Mavelikkara is the constituency with the most number of service voters, 7035. Ponnani is the constituency with the lowest, 395.
