All Keralites were in prayers when heard about the ambulance carrying a 15-day-old baby with a serious heart-related problem from a hospital in Mangaluru to Thiruvananthapuram. The baby should be brought to Sree Chitra safely. Hasan, the driver of the ambulance and a native of Uduma, had only in mind to bring the baby to the capital city at the earliest. When Health Minister K Shylaja intervened, the plan was changed a bit and the ambulance carrying the baby literally streaked across the road to Amrita in Kochi.
Messages through various social media platforms also helped the authorities to provide a hassle-free journey and the ambulance reached the hospital in five and a half hours covering the distance of 400 km.
The baby, diagnosed with a serious heart-related problem, was born to Sania and Mithah from Kasaragod 15 days ago.
When prayers were pouring in for the baby all over, the post of a youth identified as Binil Somasundaram was communal. Many came forward against his post. Writer and lecturer Deepa Nishanth posted the picture of his Facebook Post and said there are people like him in the society who think this way. She said legal action should be taken against him. Many came forward with the same opinion of Deepa Nishanth. It is heard that many have lodged complaints to the police including the DGP.
