THRISSUR: Actor Biju Menon said that it would be a blessing for Thrissur to get Suresh Gopi as a representative of the district. Biju Menon said this at the programme ‘Along with Suresh Gopi’ organised by Sowhrida Vedi at the Lulu Convention Centre. Menon said that Suresh Gopi is one of the greatest humanitarian he had ever seen. Suresh Gopi becoming a Thrissurite would be a loss for Thiruvananthapuram, said producer G Suresh Kumar. Suresh Gopi had earlier opined that film stars are not supporting him publicly, it may be because they are scared. However, Biju Menon openly said his opinion at the programme held at the Lulu Convention Centre.

Along with Biju Menon many from different fields were present there to wish him. His charity services as a MP and as an individual were recalled. His wife Radhika and son Gokul were present.
