PATHANAMTHITTA: Sabarimala Action Council vice-president and former DGP T P Senkumar has said that there are eight lakh chaukidhars (security guards) in Pathanamthitta with a strong mind to protect Sabarimala. NDA candidate K Surendran will win from the district with the help of their votes.

At a press conference here on Thursday, Sen Kumar said that it was BJP leaders including K Surendran who sincerely came out to protect Sabarimala. “A big change is going to happen in Kerala. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is not ready to end his arrogance. He is going to be the last chief minister of the CPM. Don’t seek votes in the name of religion or caste but remember the unlawful activities done by the government in Sabarimala.

The CPM has developed scare for the election anticipating defeat in the process. Women’s entry in Sabarimala will become a cause for CPM’s rot. There are no developmental achievements in the district from the part of the sitting MP.

Sabarimala Karmasamithy boards were destroyed since the CPM feared Sabarimala. The chief electoral officer had said that Karma Samithy’s boards didn’t violate any poll code. As that is the case, the CPM should reinstall those boards or else we shall take the legal course,” he said.

Meanwhile, Sen Kumar is also the election committee chairman of Kummanam Rajasekharan in Thiruvananthapuram constituency. He added that Kummanam would win from Thiruvananthapuram.
