THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: After clearing suspense, actor Mohanlal reached to cast his vote in the capital city. He came from Ernakulam and exercised his vote at the polling booth in Mudavanmugal, Poojapura. His friend Sanal Kumar accompanied him. The actor first entered the booth to cast his vote but seeing the long queue, he too joined them. He was able to cast his vote only after waiting in queue for nearly an hour.

Suresh Gopi, the NDA candidate of Thrissur had called on actor Mohanlal yesterday. When the media asked Mohanlal whether he will cast his vote, he kept mum and said let it be a suspense.

The voters couldn’t believe that it was Mohanlal dressed in white shirt and jeans who had come to cast his vote. They first tried to create a scene seeing the actor but when believed that it was the polling centre, they all stood in the queue. A tight race is seen in centres like Nemom and Vattiyoorkavu in the capital city between the UDF, LDF and the BJP.
