ALAPPUZHA: SNDP yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan said Rahul Gandhi will win the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat. He said this while returning after exercising his franchise in Kanichukulangara along with his son Thushar Vellappally. A M Ariff will win in Alappuzha, he said.

The Sabarimala issue will be a setback for the state in many constituencies, he said. Meantime, good polling continues all over the state. A higher turnout was seen in Wayanad, Kannur and Kollam districts. A low turnout was seen in Ernakulam. A delay occurred in some booths after glitches noticed in voting machines.
