THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Electoral Officer Tikaram Meena has informed that there will be re-polling in Booth no 83 of Ernakulam Kalamassery constituency.

“Here 715 voters voted but in the EVM the number of votes registered was 758. 43 votes were surplus votes registered. Later it was found out that the presiding officer had forgotten to delete the 43 votes polled during the mock poll. We informed this to the Chief Election Commission and they have instructed us to hold re-poll in the booth,” he said.
