KOCHI: BJP candidate Alphons Kannanthanam has taken exception to the comment made by actor Mammootty while coming out of the polling booth after voting.

Mammooty had said that UDF and LDF candidates are good ones. Kannanthanam said that Mammootty’s above remark was immature.

“Mamooty is a senior actor. He is a big personality. He had been hero for the past 40 years. He very well knows that there are three candidates. It is not righto catch hold of two candidates and say they are good.

Bring a responsible person, he should not have said that. May be, he is sore at me for not going to meet him, whereas I had gone to meet Mohanlal,” Kannamthanam told media on Wednesday.
