KOCHI: Suresh Kallada, the owner of Kallada travels reported in front of the investigation team in relation to the case where passengers were assaulted by bus staff. He reported in front of Thrikkakkara SP. The police didn’t accept Suresh’s request to avoid his personal appearance. The police will check whether Suresh Kallada has had a hand in the incident. If found guilty, he will be charged.

Meanwhile, the victims of assault stated that there were more felons in addition to the ones arrested. The police will take the remanded felons for further questioning. Coimbatore Nachipalayam native Kumar (55), Manager Girilal (37), Vishnu (29) from Alappuzha and Puducherry natives Anwar, Jithin, Jayesh and Rajesh are the ones remanded. They have been charged with assault, attempt to murder, theft, usage of weapon and several other crimes.

It was on Sunday morning that Sulthan Bathery native Sachin (22), friend Ashkar (22) and Thrissur native Ajayghosh, passengers of Kallada travels, were brutally assaulted by Kallada bus staff.
