KOCHI: A man dies after the car in which he was travelling in search of a woman rams into side wall of a road. The woman’s relatives and police officers were also inside the car. The car met with accident in Tamil Nadu yesterday.

The dead person has been identified as Hari Narayan, the woman’s uncle and Southern Railway Thiruvananthapuram Coaching depot Senior Section Engineer and a resident of Mannanthala Surya Nagar.

Kochi Infopark Police Station ASI Vinayakan, Senior Civil Police Officers Anil Kumar, Dinil, Rajesh and woman’s relative Vinu were injured. They are under treatment in Coiambatore Medical Centre.

Vinayakan is in ICU. The accident happened on Thursday morning at 6:30 am. The accident spot was Tamil Nadu Avinash Alampalayam.

The missing woman is the daughter of Hari Narayan’s brother, living in Thripunithrua. The car had crashed into a road divider. The police said that Hari might have dozed off while driving the car, resulting in the accident.
