THIRUVANNATHAPURAM: The CPM has evaluated that the Left Front will attain 18 seats in Lok Sabha polls. The CPM state secretariat convened in the capital city appraised that except Wayanad and Malappuram, there are winning chances for the remaining constituencies. The CPM assess that the LDF is firm in winning 12 constituencies and a crucial race was there in six places.

It was opined in the meet that the BJP cross voted for the UDF in many constituencies. The Left Front will be able to attain a prestigious victory in this election, said party state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan while briefing the decisions of the CPM secretariat. The secretariat considered many things including election activities from adding name in the voters list and the details of the votes.

The CPM state secretariat’s general evaluation is that the high polling percentage will benefit the Left Front. Rahul Gandhi’s candidature was not a factor in the election, said Kodiyeri. The BJP will not open an account this time and there are chances for an increase in vote sharing.
