PALODE: A serial actor who sent nude pictures of a girl to fiancé in Gulf was arrested by the police on Friday. The police had on Thursday filed a case against the man, who had made friend with the actor through the Facebook.

Palode police arrested Karimankode native Shanin (25) under POCSO and IT act.

The police version: Shanin got acquainted with the girl through the Facebook in 2014. After giving her marriage promises, he shot pictures of their intimate moments.

In between, annoyed by Shanin’s behaviour, the woman started distancing herself from him.

Recently, the girl’s marriage was fixed with a youth employed in the Gulf. Coming to know about this, Shanin sent the pictures to him, after which the latter withdrew from the marriage.

After this incident, the girl lodged a complaint with the police against Shanin. The police have started the search for him.
