NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court has ordered to stay further actions against the SNDP Yogam on a petition filed with the High Court. The plea was to liquidate SNDP and disqualify the authority and to appoint a five-man panel to look after the finances of the organization.
SNDP approached the Supreme Court against the Division Bench order of the High Court. The Single Bench issued a verdict that the plea to liquidate the organization won’t stand as per company rule. But the court directed to resolve other issues raised in the plea. The appeal made by the petitioners was accepted by the division bench and the petition was sent to the single bench for hearing.
The SNDP Yogam argued that the allegations are baseless and out of personal vendetta. There are no evidences for the allegations and the petition against SNDP Yogam was filed under false intention, the Yogam stated. The SC accepted the argument and decided to stay the division bench order.
