KOCHI: In light of the terrorist attack in Sri Lanka, the police have issued a security warning. Homestays and hotels have been advised to keep alert. The police have also asked to hand over the details of the guests. Homestays have been warned of raids if proper reports are not given.
The NIA has started a probe on Shahran Hashim’s link with Kerala. No direct links that connect the Kerala natives in custody to the Sri Lanka blasts. However, it has been found that they preached communalism. NIA has clarified that these natives have widely spread speeches and idea of Shahran Hashim.
NIA has also asked two Kasaragod natives to be present at the agency office in Kochi. In the raid conducted at their houses, several mobile phones were seized.
