KOCHI: The NIA has arrested Palakkad Kollamkode Akshaya Nagar resident Riyaz Aboobecker (28), who constantly followed the ideologies of the master brain of a series of Sri Lankan suicide bombing and National Thouheed Jamaat leader.
He had been custody for the past two days. He will be produced in a special NIA court in Kochi
In the interrogation held, he reportedly confessed to the police that he had plans to launch suicide bomb attacks in Kerala. He used to sell hats and Attar Perfume.
He was arrested under terror act. He was found to have been following talks and videos of Sahran for the past one year.
Earlier he had maintained close relationship with ISS man and Kasargod native Abdul Rasheed.

In the questioning, he said often made online chat with Valapattnam ISIS case accused and Syria-based Abdul Khayum. The four others in custody are being questioned.
