THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief electoral Officer Tikaram Meena has said he had not noticed any sabotage in postal voting. “KPCC president Mullapally Ramachandran and Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala had complained to me about this. They had also requested the DGP to probe the matter. On the basis of this request, we have sent the report to the DGP. We have taken steps according to the law only,” Tikaram said.
Meanwhile, the chief electoral officer has sought the report on the allegation that Muslim League members had done bogus voting.
Tikaram has sought the report from Kasargod and Kannur district collectors. The instruction is to probe the matter and send the report on Tuesday itself.
The other day LDF said that visuals of bogus voting at Kalyassery Puthiyangadi under Kasargod Lok Sabha constituency had been released.
