NEW DELHI: KPCC president Mullapally Ramachandran has alleged that the journalist who exposed bogus voting in Kasargod and Kannur constituencies received threat from the CPM.
He said he was not revealing the identity of the journalist due to security reasons. “But the threat comes constantly to his phone. But we want to make clear that the journalist is not alone and the whole of Kerala society is with him,” he said in his usual dramatic style during a press conference in New Delhi.
Mullapally alleged that the CPM perpetrated bogus voting using the administrative mechanism. He also demanded probe in to bogus voting allegation against Muslim League.
“In the history of politics, the Muslim League has never before cast bogus vote but as there are allegations, a probe should be carried out.
The CPM has made an organised planning to cast bogus voting. The proof for this is CPM State Secretary Kodiyeri. Balakrishnan’s assertive statement that the CPM will win 18 seats even in this nonconductive atmosphere.
Meanwhile, there will be a shake-up of office bearers in the Congress party soon after the Lok Sabha election results are out.
This is going to be done according to the decision of the high command. Jambo committees of former years will not be there. In Kerala, now there are no group activities. However Congress is united in Kerala.
