KANNUR: The CPM revealed the footage of Muslim League activists casting bogus votes again in Kannur. The clippings of bogus voting at Pamburuthy in Kannur was exposed today. The video shows one person casting more than one vote. The CPM alleged that widespread bogus voting took place at booth no 166 at Pamburuthi Island, one of the strongholds of the Muslim League in Kannur.
The footage shows Anaz K, a voter of booth number 1131 casting votes twice. Muhammed Basheer of booth number 1082, K M Arshad of booth number 12 and T V Musthafa of booth number 270 were seen voting twice, the CPM said. Not only that there was a commotion in a bid of preventing bogus voting. The LDF had on the voting day itself alleged that bogus voting took place at Pamburuthi. A complaint was lodged to the election commission with the list of bogus voters.
The footage of UDF casting bogus votes in Muslim League centres of Kasargod constituency were revealed earlier. Muslim League activists bogus voting at Kalyassery assembly constituency were very clear. The clippings show a person casting five votes in two booths of Puthiyangadi Jamaath Higher Secondary School at Madai panchayat. Bogus voting took place at Muttam Govt Mapila U P School.
