THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief electoral Officer Tikaram Meena has confirmed the allegation that three Muslim League workers indulged in bogus voting.

Muhammed Faiz, K M Muhammed and Abdul Samad are the people who did bogus voting. This happened in Kalyassery Puthiyangadi Jama-ath school booth. The complaint was that four people caste fake votes but one person was found not to have done it, Tikaram said at a press conference on Friday.

“Cases will be filed against those who indulged in bogus voting. Instruction has been given to carry out further investigation against polling officials who facilitated bogus voting. I have asked for a report within 7 days,” he added.
