PATHANAMTHITTA: Devaswom Board president A Padmakuma has said renaissance is not something that should be confined only to certain places. This is a concept that should come up in all sections of people and it should not be unilateral. He has made this remark in the context of burqa controversy.
Padmakumar said on Saturday that in all sections, it should be implemented in consultation with senior citizens.
“In Sabarimala woman entry issue, I have a clear stand but since I’m in the chair of Devaswom board president, I can’t reveal that now. I’m waiting for the final verdict of the Supreme Court in Sabarimala women’s entry issue,” Padmakumar added.
