THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The National Investigation Agency arraigned three more Keralites for trying to strengthen ISIS, the Islamic terrorist organization, in India. Muhammed Faizal of Karunagapally, Aboobacker Siddique and Ahamed Arafaz of Kasargod were included in the accused list of ISIS terror case. The three hatched a conspiracy with Abdul Rashid who joined ISIS reaching Syria from Kerala, NIA alleged in the report submitted in the court.
The NIA arrested Riyaz Aboobacker, a native of Palakkad for having connection with Saharan Hashim, the conspirator of Sri Lankan terror attack case. The NIA had found that he tried for an attack in Kerala. The Keralites arraigned are close aides of Riyaz. The NIA sources were not ready to clarify where they are now and whether their arrest has been registered.
Meantime, more than 65 Keralites are under the surveillance of the NIA who conducted a raid in Tamil Nadu related to the terror attack in Sri Lanka. Keralites having links with Thowheed Jamath in Tamil Nadu are under the observation of the NIA. Videos of Saharan Hashim have been confiscated in the raid. The NIA has obtained details of the meeting of Thowheed Jamath convened in Madura and Namakkal. The NIA team has got the video evidence of it in Arabic, Tamil and Malayalam. The videos obtained shows Hashim luring youths from Kerala and Tamil Nadu to their group. The documents were seized from the raid in Coimbatore and Chennai.
