THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state chief P S Sreedharan Pillai sabotaged the development of the national highway in the state, said Finance Minister T M Thomas Isaac. Pillai, who sabotaged the development of the national highway, should be announced as public enemy and then should boycott him. The National Highway Development Authority ensures that the national highway will not be developed during the tenure of this government. This is a revenge of the Modi Government, Isaac wrote as a Facebook post.
Pillai had sent a letter to the centre requesting to prevent land acquisition in Ernakulam soon after the floods. Isaac disclosed Pillai’s letter sent to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. The letter sent on September 14 in 2018 has mentioned that it is sent as per the demand of the Samyukta Samara Samithi. He has mentioned about land acquisition of Edapally-Moothakunnam part of H66 damaged in the floods. He has requested to stop acquisition of land for some time. Meantime, the LDF is trying to use this issue as a political one.
Isaac’s Facebook post said advocate P S Sreedharan Pillai has used his post to sabotage the development of the state. He should be boycotted after declaring him as the state’s public enemy.
The national highway development authority had ensured that the development will not take place during the tenure of the LDF. This shows Modi’s revenge towards the state. The BJP is trying to destroy the state, he said.
