PALAKKAD: Hindu Aikyavedi leader K P Sasikala has taken exception to covering of face as part of certain religious tradition.

“People can cover their face, if it is their tradition, but they should not cover their face and appear in front of public. Wear dresses in such a manner that others can identify your face,” she said.

Sasikala had earlier come out in support of Muslim Education Society’s stand but she asked whether the administration or the general public would be able to take a decision on the issue.
