THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Four cops sent for poll duty to Punjab has been called back in connection with the postal ballot irregularity. The action is as per the directive of battalion DIG. Cops including Manikuttan mentioned in the intelligence probe have been called back related to the incident.
The four presently facing a crime branch probe are called back from election duty as part of an initial action. If proven guilty, they will have to face disciplinary action.
The four is likely to return to the state Friday evening itself. Vaishakh, a cop was suspended earlier. It is hinted that the cops are called back as part of further steps.
