Edappal: Abheeshta siddhi puja was performed in Panniyoor Varahamoorthy temple on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.
The special puja was performed on Anizham (star) day as Modi’s birth star is Anizham. Another fact is that puja was performed on the day when voting in Varasani was going on.

Abheeshtasiddhi puja was also performed in the past when Modi was the Gujarat chief minister. The puja is performed usually by people with the hope that their wish will come true.

Recently, the same puja was performed in the temple for BJP National president Amit Shah during his birthday.

For performing the puja for the prime minister at Panniyoor Varahamoorthy temple, BJP Sate leaders V T Rema, Madathil Ravi, K Narayanan and Ravi Thelathu had arrived at the temple.
