THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: When there are only hours left to know who will rule the country, there is no doubt that the BJP will make a massive advance in Kerala, said state chief P S Sreedharan Pillai. Exit polls too had predicted that lotus will bloom in Kerala this time. Pillai hope that the emotions of the voters in issues like Sabarimala will favour them.

The BJP’s closeness with the NSS in Sabarimala issue is sure to reflect in the polls. The BJP leadership is hopeful of a win in Thiruvananthapuram, Pathanamthitta and Thrissur constituencies. Though the NSS as usual announced commitment to the policy of equidistance from all political parties’, BJP chief affirmed that they obtained support from the NSS.

Pillai in an interview had mentioned that they expect to get 17% votes. He also guaranteed to get three lakh votes from five to seven constituencies. Sabarimala has a role in the party’s leap and voters want Modi to return. CPM obtained the support of Hindu community in the state. However, they will lose that support for supporting women entry in Sabarimala.
