KOTTAYAM: The tension and dispute in the Kerala Congress (M) sees new ceiling as Idukki MLA Roshy Augustine submitted a letter to the Speaker stating that P.J. Joseph is not the parliamentary party leader. The letter submitted by Roshy Augustine as the party whip of Kerala Congress (M) thereby dismissed the earlier letters submitted by Mons Joseph, the parliamentary party secretary. Now, the Speaker’s decision is key as two letters were submitted from the same party.

Roshy Augustine’s letter requests more time to select a parliamentary party leader. Mons Joseph letter was requesting the appointment of P.J. Joseph as the parliamentary party leader by mentioning his position as the vice leader of the party. Roshy’s letter mentions that as per the rule of the party, vice leader won’t get the position.
