KOZHIKODE: Pinarayi Vijayan should be shifted from the chief minister’s post and replaced with Health Minister K K Shylaja, said film actor and director Joy Mathew through a Facebook post.

“Don’t change your style, Shylaja Teacher should be shifted from the health department to the chief minister’s post. There will be a good change after that,” he wrote in his post.

Opposition leaders had launched an attack towards the chief minister soon after the Lok Sabha results were out. The LDF faced a severe poll debacle this time. The chief minister was criticised for his style of functioning. He was asked to resign owning moral responsibility for the electoral drubbing.

However, the chief minister had stated that no changes will be brought in his style of functioning. In this contest, Joy Mathew came to the fore with his opinion.
