THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPI State secretary Kanam Rajendran has said that in the recent Lok Sabha election, Sabarimala agitation was not the only reason for LDF’s poll drubbing. “What the Left faced in Kerala was a massive defeat. There was a big difference in vote share and this will be examined.”
Kanam said that absence of unity among the Opposition in the Centre was the reason for Modi’s victory. “The Left also failed to project itself as an alternative to the BJP in the Centre,” he added.
