KANNUR: In CPM stronghold Thalassery, a hotel owned by a widow was reportedly encroached by some party workers and converted to their party office.
According to the complaint, the two-room hotel belonged Thalassery Josegiri native P M Samyuktha. The rooms have been converted to branch office.
But, Samyukta’s claims were rejected by the CPM, which went on to explain that the office was opened according to a contract signed with her son.
Samyuktha is the wife of former SNDP office bearer K P Ratnakaran. She had also mentioned in the complaint that the office was opened as a temporary one during the election days and soon they made it their permanent branch office.
Samyuktha has already submitted complaints to senior CPM leaders Sitharam Yechury, Prakash Karat, Vrinda Karat, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, seeking their intervention for returning her property usurped by the CPM. But her complaint didn’t get any response.
Samyukta is in possession of proper documents of her property. She said that the CPM influenced her son, who is living separately from her, and grabbed her hotel rooms.
The news about this appeared on a private TV channel on Wednesday.
