THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Amidst speculations on who will become union minister from Kerala, Kummanam Rajashekaran, former Mizoram Governor and NDA candidate of Thiruvananthapuram left for Delhi at 6.05 am.
He has not obtained any hint on being included in the cabinet. He had earlier mentioned that he was not going for the swearing in ceremony. Though tried to contact him, could not get him on the line. The leadership had summoned him to Delhi.
Apart from Kummanam, the names of V Muraleedharan, Alphons Kannamthanam, Suresh Gopi and P C Thomas are heard for ministerships. Priority will be given to Kummanam, Muraleedharan and Kannamthanam.
The state leadership has the hope of getting due importance in the cabinet in the first phase itself.
Noted leaders including BJP state chief P S Sreedharan Pillai will attend the swearing in ceremony of Narendra Modi at 7 pm today.
