CHERUTHURUTY: A youth died after the tractor in which he was travelling overturned. The dead has been identified as Jayan (36), son of Devaki of Deshamangalam. The incident happened Thursday morning.

The incident happened when the tractor in which he was travelling lost control and overturned. Jayan used to work in a quarry. Jayan, who was lying under the tractor was taken out by the local residents who rushed to the spot. Though he was taken to Wadakkancherry taluk hospital, his life could not be saved.
