KOCHI: Two patients out of the five entered into the isolation ward of Kalamassery Medical College on the suspicion of Nipah were discharged. Three new patients were entered, making it six inside the isolation ward.

The results of all ten samples collected from Ernakulam Medical College were negative. Health condition of the youth under treatment for Nipah is satisfactory. Another person who came in contact with youth has been included in the observation list, taking the total number to 330. No one in the list has shown any signs of virus infection.

33 people will be removed from the observation list today. The test results of nine people who had a distant possibility of infection were negative.
