KOCHI: Missing circle inspector Navaz was mentally tortured by his senior official, said the former’s wife. He very often forced him to take false cases. His mental torture is the reason for him to go missing. A probe should be conducted against him and a case should be registered. The police is not sharing the details of Navaz. Though a missing complaint was lodged, an exact reply was not obtained, the circle inspector’s wife alleged.

The responses of Navaz’s wife will put the state police and the Kochi city police on the defensive. She said that her husband had told her about the senior officer’s mental torture.

Kochi city police commissioner had given a report to the DGP on the missing of Navaz. The report had explained the incidents happened. The report has included the dispute that broke out in the wireless. The DGP will probe whether there are any lapses from the side of the ACP.

IG Vijay Sakhare handed over the report to the DGP. The officer’s wife had given a complaint to the chief minister. Meantime, the police has so far not been able to trace Navaz.
