ERNAKULAM: Special investigation team has been formed to probe the missing case of Kochi Central CI Navas. Kochi City Deputy Police Commissioner G. Poonkuzhali will be lead the team. The police is in search for Navas in Kollam after receiving info.

Navas’ wife submitted a complaint to the CM alleging that Navas left due to the torture from superior officers. Following this, DCP Poonkuzhali quizzed ACP Suresh Kumar, the superior of Navas.

The investigation team will be a group of 20 which includes Thrikkakkara Police Assistant Commissioner K. Stuart Keeler and Palarivattom Police Inspector Sreejesh P.S. ADGP Darwesh Sahib and Police Commissioner Vijay Sakhare will supervise the investigation.

Meanwhile, Kerala Police’s Facebook page published a missing notice about CI Navas. The post describes Navas’ physique and dressing. The post is filled with comments criticizing the police for the incident.
