KANNUR: Kallada Travels is once again in news. This time breaks thigh bone of a passenger following rash driving. Mohan, a native of Payyanur sustained injures in their brutality. He broke his thigh bone when the bus jumped a hump after rash driving. The employees of the bus were not ready to reach him, who was in severe pain to the hospital. Finally his son took his father to the hospital.
Mohan boarded the bus from Perumba near Payyanur last Sunday. The incident happened when the bus reached Mysuru early 2.30 am. He was sitting on the back seat of the bus. The employees of the bus did not pay attention even after he was yelling out of pain. He was subjected for two surgeries and the doctors advised him to take rest for three months.
Transport Minister A K Saseendran spoke to injured Mohan. As the incident happened in another state, there are limitations in finding a solution but the minister assured to do whatever is necessary. Passengers of the bus should be treated with dignity. The Kallada Bus is yet to realize this. Solutions for this will be taken, the minister said.
