KANNUR: P J Joseph said that Jose K Mani’s chairman post was in deathbed and after the court verdict, it is in ventilator. Joseph’s response came in the midst of opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala’s announcement that he would hold compromise talks with Jose K Mani.
Joseph alleged that Jose K Mani convened the state committee through impersonation.
“Majority of the state committee members did not take part in that meeting. A crowd took part in the committee and made the announcement,” said Joseph.
“A meeting assembled by those who do not have the authority is illegal. That’s why the decision taken by the committee was stayed by the court. The court has also directed Jose K Mani not perform the duties of a chairman and not to convene meetings. His chairman position has been frozen. After the court verdict, his chairmanship is in ventilator,” said Joseph.
Responding to Joseph, Jose K Mani asked Joseph not to forget that he had been in ventilator in his political live many times and was given a new life by K. M. Mani. He said that Kerala Congress had offered asylum to Joseph overcoming opposition from many. “
Each day Joseph is realizing that supporters are not with him. I doubt if his statements are a result that panic,” he said.
