THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The strike by inter-state buses will continue as the discussion between state transport minister A. K. Saseendran and the bus owners failed.

The interstate bus services were on an indefinite strike alleging that unnecessary fine being imposed on the buses in the name of permit.

Minister Saseendran clarified that the inspections will continue. He had put forward an assurance that inspections would be done without inconveniencing the bus staff or passengers, but the bus owners rejected it.
